Footsteps of Lake County

The mission of Footsteps is to share the love of God with students and inspire

them to grow in becoming life-long followers of Jesus Christ.

What is Footsteps

Footsteps is a Christian interdenominational weekend retreat for teenagers in grades 9 through 12. Footsteps helps teens of all faith backgounds (or no background at all) to grow in their faith walk. To this end, teens listen to talks, do group activities, engage in discussions, worship, sing, pray, share, eat and make new friends during these weekend retreats.

Footsteps weekends involve teachings and talks on a variety of Christian topics: forgiveness, faith, grace, prayer, discipleship, evangelism, etc. All of these topics are geared around encouraging students to live out the Greatest Commandment (love God, love others) and the Great Commission (go and make disciples) that Jesus taught us in the Gospels.
